“Apartments in Mikras Asias”, Glyfada, Greece

The project in Glyfada explores the relationship between geometry, light, and nature, seeking to redefine the living experience in a dense urban environment. The design is structured around strong horizontal layers, where wide terraces extend outward, creating both shade and openness.

Circular voids puncture each level, allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the building’s core while establishing a vertical dialogue across all floors. These voids transform into sculptural elements that frame the sky, introducing an ever-changing play of light throughout the day.

The rhythm of the façade is softened by lush greenery that emerges from every level, blurring the boundary between architecture and landscape. The vegetation acts as a natural filter, enhancing privacy while also contributing to a sustainable microclimate for the residents.

Minimal lines, bold volumes, and carefully placed natural elements come together to create a serene yet striking presence in the city. More than a residential building, the project aspires to become a living organism—one that breathes with its surroundings and provides its inhabitants with a balance of openness, intimacy, and connection to nature.
