“The lighthouse” is a newly developed residential project in Glyfada. The building is situated 600m from the centre of Glyfada and 1.2 km from the beach and marina of Glyfada. It is a statement of contemporary design and, most of all, spacious design.

What makes it unique is the conspicuousness of the site; three out of its four sides are facing a public street, allowing large balconies all around the building. The main façade is facing Zerva street, a main road of Glyfada. Across Zerva, there is a park and a public track field. The entrance to the plot lies at Tataki street.

The elegant round shape of the building is accentuated by the fluid architectural elements at the façade. These elements add movement to the façade and aesthetic value to the site. The design is innovative and memorable, acting as a beacon in the area.

A lighting installation paired with pools and vegetation welcomes the users to the building. The remarkable entrance leads to the building’s core, the centre, which includes the elevator and main staircase for the vertical movement, as well as an atrium for the maximization of natural light and ventilation to the apartments.

The ground floor has two apartments with big private pools. The back area of the plot is a common green area for all the residents. Privacy in ensured with carefully planned vegetation, working also as a barrier for road sounds. The ground floor apartments extend to the first basement and the first floor, each including a mezzanine.

The first floor has two typical apartments and two lofts with mezzanine.

The second floor has two typical apartments.

The third floor has two typical apartments, including an attic and private access to the roof terrace.

All upper floor apartments have large balconies with private Jacuzzis and views to the sea and the adjacent park. The building has two underground parking levels, as well as four parking spaces at the ground floor. Each residence is independently A+ energy efficient with pre-installed floor heating, vrv, and energy efficient glass frames.

The concept of the lighthouse is manifested, not only by the exceptionally contemporary design, but also by the functionality and spaciousness of the apartments.
